Riccardo Luigetti
Riccardo Luigetti joined the European Medicines Agency (EMA) in 2004, where he has been involved mainly in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and International Cooperation. In the last 5 years Dr. Luigetti has been a Principal international affairs officer. In this role he has worked towards increasing international cooperation among medicines regulators and other stakeholders, including a project aimed at facilitating the global interconnection of Track and Trace systems for medicines. Previously Dr. Luigetti worked as scientist in university and in the Italian regulatory agency as GMP inspector and quality assessor. He has chemistry background, with a PhD in biochemistry.
