The stremed discussions covered several critical issues connected with the role of standards in a crisis, data quality and data sharing, enabling pharmaceutical traceability in supply chains, unique medical device identification (UDI), hospital implementation, clinical trials, and digital technologies in healthcare. During the Online Summit, the audience had the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers. In case you’re interested in hearing the answer to a specific question, please send an email to healthcare@gs1.org.

Meet our speakers
For the healthcare summit, we have brought together leaders from across the globe who will share their unique perspectives and expertise. The speakers range from government and regulators - to pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers and wholesalers - to clinicians and other representatives from hospitals. We will not only have the opportunity to learn about the work being done in different regions, but we will discover how all parts of the healthcare supply chain are coming together in support of patient safety.
Discover our speakers below.
Our charity
The mission of GS1 Healthcare is to improve patient safety and the quality of lives. For each participant registered GS1 donate 5$ (USD) to Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance to support their important work.
Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, helps vaccinate almost half the world’s children against deadly and debilitating infectious diseases. As part of its mission to save lives, reduce poverty and protect the world against the threat of epidemics, Gavi has helped vaccinate more than 760 million children in the world’s poorest countries.
Our sponsors
As we change our thinking of what events look like in 2020, we also need to reconsider what our event exhibitions look like. Although you will not be able to have in-person conversations with the sponsors this year, we still wanted to make sure that attendees have the opportunity to discover the innovative solutions they are offering. Take a moment to meet our sponsors and connect.
